basketball both as player and coach. Played for Kenya Harlequins and was Kenya
Team Manager U21 as well coach Kenya U21 and Kenya U19.
– Also a sports media personality formerly with Supersport at the same time is a sports
marketer.
– Mr. Mwachiro holds a degree in Bachelor of Science (WST) Upper Second
Class Honours from Moi University, Eldoret.

He also holds a Certificate in Occupational, Health, Safety and Environment from
Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, is in possession of a Lead
Auditor ISO 22000 Certificate, is a qualified Trainer of Trainers (TOT) and a Lead
NEMA EIA/EA expert.
He is a Member of ISO 26000 National Mirror Committee (KEBS); UN Global
Compact; and the Ufadhili CSR Champions Forum in Kenya.
He is a past Chairman of the Institute for the Education in Democracy (IED).
He is a past Chairman – Kenya National Congress and a former founder Secretary
General – Democratic Congress.
He has also been a former Deputy Director of Elections Shirikisho Party of Kenya.
He is the current Deputy Party Leader of the United Progressive Alliance – UPA
